What we believe at Grace

1. The Scriptures

We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, error‑free Word of God and the final authority for Christian faith and life.

2. God

We believe in one God—Creator, perfect and eternal—existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, risen bodily, ascended, and now our High Priest and Advocate.

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ, convicts the world, regenerates believers, and empowers them for godly living and service.

5. Humanity

We believe mankind was created in God’s image but fell into sin. Only through the Holy Spirit’s regenerating work can salvation be received.

6. Salvation

We believe salvation is through Christ alone—His shed blood and resurrection. All who receive Him become children of God.

Rom. 5:8; Acts 4:12; John 1:12

7. Ordinances

We believe the Lord’s Supper and water baptism are ordinances for the Church today, not means of salvation.

8. The Church

We believe the true Church is made up of all who have placed saving faith in Christ and been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head.

9. Local Church Membership

We believe only those who are part of the true Church are eligible for membership in the local church.

10. Church Leadership

We believe Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of His Church, and each local church governs its own affairs under His authority.

11. Christ’s Return

We believe in the personal, premillennial, and imminent return of Jesus Christ—our Blessed Hope—which shapes the believer’s life and service.

12. Resurrection & Eternity

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people—believers to everlasting joy with the Lord, unbelievers to judgment and eternal conscious punishment.
